Music
This section brings together more projects, each built around a different band's world.
Mother's Daughter started as album art and grew into a whole alternative universe: a band of aliens forced to play music together, whether they like it or not. Illustrations of the members, poster art and cover designs all build out one continuous, slightly deranged mythology around the group.
Album covers for Treska Jednoskvrná and Múry mají nárok na kremaci pulled straight from the mood of each record, strange, dreamlike creatures standing in for sound rather than illustrating any single lyric.
Illustrations for Vlasta's Burials project came from a much heavier place, a deeply personal record, and the art followed that weight rather than any outside concept.
Last, an accompanying illustration for Us Against The World Corporp: a skeletal rider on horseback, closer to an old woodcut or metal album cover than a band poster, standing in for the record's tone in a single image.
